Capstone – Project

Students will work with two business, in the same industry, in Hoboken, NJ. Students will work with a company that strives to create a single restaurant platform that allows businesses and restaurateurs to work better together. Students will also work with a technical team to help grow a company’s user base in Hoboken, NJ and assist them with a successful and efficient launch.

Students will work with a company that strives to create a single restaurant platform that allows businesses and restaurateurs to work better together. The goal of this single platform is to create an experience that best serves all customers & is user friendly for staff. Growing a restaurant/brand can be difficult which is why our goal is to have businesses collaborate in order to share experiences and succeed together.

Students will also work with a technical team to help grow a company’s user base in Hoboken, NJ and assist them with a successful and efficient launch. Students will also market this to the residents of Hoboken, NJ and onboard local restaurants and establishments, and suggest innovative ideas for the growing and improving the application.

Necessary Skill Set:

Work with executives and other business leaders to identify opportunities for improvement

Create reports for internal teams and/or external clients

Collaborate with team members to collect and analyze data

Use graphs, infographics and other methods to visualize data

Establish KPIs to measure the effectiveness of business decisions

Structure large data sets to find usable information

Work with a team of analysts and other associates to process information

Create presentations and reports based on recommendations and findings

Interpret data and analyze results using statistical techniques

Develop and implement data analyses, collection systems, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality

Acquire data from primary and/or secondary data sources and maintain databases

Conduct market research to find answers about consumer requirements, habits, and trends

Brainstorm and develop ideas for creative marketing campaigns

Assist in out/inbound marketing activities by demonstrating expertise in various areas (content development and optimization, advertising, event planning, etc)
