The COVID-19 pandemic has sparked digital transformation across the pharmaceutical industry. However, the shift to reliance on software and cloud technologies has only heightened concerns about data integrity and security. While these are vital across the entire sector, keeping patient data safe while implementing decentralized or hybrid trial protocols is of critical importance. Using a blockchain-based system enables pharmaceutical companies to record subjects’ data for years in a fully integrated, tamper proof block-chain. Our client is a blockchain technology provider that helps organizations create a transparent and accountable world through open, distributed, and interoperable networks. Using a clinical trial expert and our client’s infrastructure, the Stevens team will develop a prototype of a blockchain based, clinical trial record keeping system.
